E&O
According to Zagat Survey:
Expect "food that outshines the hype" at Will Ricker's "sexy", "slick", "celeb-spotting" Notting Hill "hot spot", where the "delicious" Pan-Asian cooking, including "popcorn shrimp so addictive it should be a controlled substance", will have you "thinking about it for days afterwards"; yes, it's "absolutely fabulous in every way, daaarling!" - but even fans feel "staff are not geared towards serving mere mortals"; P.S. there's also a "see-and-be-seen" bar serving signature "watermelon martinis.

Nobu
According to Zagat Survey:
There are "not enough superlatives to describe" this "buzzing" first-floor "culinary summit" inside Park Lane's Metropolitan Hotel, where the "hypnotic" Japanese-South American fusion dishes are "so divine you want to genuflect at the true mastery of it all"; "celeb sightings abound" so "dress to kill" ("dig out that Armani suit") - just "be prepared to melt your credit cards" and remember the "staff mantra seems to be 'I'm too sexy for this job.'"

The Ivy
According to Zagat Survey:
"Believe everything you've heard" about this "people-watching splurge" in Theatreland where the Modern British-European dishes are as "divine" "as the star wattage" ("wish I could sit next to Kylie or Madge"), staff are "impeccable" and the environs are "not as pretentious as you'd think"; if a few feel it's "no longer hot but smouldering" and "mobbed by the would-be-with-its", they're overruled by fans who concur it's "worth the advance planning"; P.S. best tip for a table: "dine early or late" - or be "famous."

Culinary legend Alan Yau maintains his reputation as an innovator with this sleek, bi-level operation in the new Ford Motor Company headquarters in Soho, boasting a teahouse on the ground floor offering over 100 varieties of leaves and French-inspired pastries, and a dim sum spot in the basement with Chinese victuals for lunch and dinner from chef Cheong Wah Soon from Yau's hot spot Hakkasan; N.B. check out the retail store selling tea and paraphernalia.
